After two stormy, snowy weather cancellations in March, the annual St. Patrick's Tournament was held on June 14. It was a steamy, hot day at Honeybrook but the luck of the Irish was with Geoff "Skippy Gallagher and Peter "Reilley" Horvath as they combined for a 13-under better ball score of 57. Skippy shot a great 69 - but the big news of the day was Rick Umani, who shot a new course record: seven-under par 63 from the white tees. Alison Long had a great day as well, with a three-under 67. All names were recorded on the Bodhran trophy, a Gaelic ceremonial drum donated by John Kennedy four years ago.
