2017 Opening Day Member Shamble in memory of "B" Fort
Eleven teams (44 players) came out for the friendly competition of the Opening Day Shamble. Cries of "4 for 2" were heard across the course on a beautiful day as the team of Captain Sheri Yucha, Pete Palmer, Don Riley and Jay Yucha recorded an unbelievable score of 48? to take the B Cup. Alison Long picked up two prizes with the Ladies Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive. The festivities began Friday evening at the pairings party on the green with hors d'ouvres and drinks.
2017 St. Paddy's Tournament Champions Sherry Yucha and Laura Ryan are presented with the Royal Bodhrán by John Kennedy. The ladies posted a winning team score of 64 to beat eleven other teams. The event was played on a beautiful April 9 day that kissed 70 degrees after getting snowed out on St Patrick's Day just three weeks earlier.
