• Registration is now open for the spring edition of the Golf Association of Philadelphia’s Winter Series. Venues include Brookside Country Club (March 8), Bala Golf Club (March 14), Laurel Creek Country Club (March 22) and Blue Bell Country Club (March 28). Cost is $35 per person, per event. Entrants are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Let your game speak up during the normally quiet, offseason months.

• The Golf Association of Philadelphia offers various seminars to educate and invigorate its membership. They include the Rules of Golf, the Presidents’ Council and the College Golf Seminar. Now in its eighth year, the Presidents’ Council, set for March 28 at Waynesborough Country Club, allows club leaders to address and discuss hot-button issues affecting their clubs and memberships as well as the golf business overall.
